Abstract:

Foreign direct investment (FDI) being the non-debt financial capital is considered the most preferred international capital to contribute economic growth to the host economies. It is a win-win investment for both home and host economies. It contributes to the economic growth mainly through technological and managerial advancements, increasing return to production via positive externalities, creation of economic climate more competitive and productive spillovers etc.
