Abstract:

Entrepreneurship is a national treasure that must be protected, encouraged, and compensated in such a way because entrepreneurs are able to create jobs, opportunities, and prosperity for the country. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship knowledge and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention in Private Higher Education (PTS) students who attend Soft Skills Ready to Work Training in Semarang City. Respondents consist of 77 students. Data processed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial knowledge and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention. Government and universities must give more attention to arise student’s entrepreneurial intention. Thus several ways must be prepared for students to have an entrepreneurial desire and intention so that the availability of new jobs can be created.
