Abstract:

This study determined the relationship between corporate strategy and organizational performance of a manpower service cooperative in General Santos City. The descriptive survey and correlational research design were used, employing the quantitative method. The data were gathered through the survey questionnaire and administered to the three hundred thirty-five (335) respondents. The data gathered were analyzed through frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and Pearson correlation. The findings of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between corporate strategy and organizational performance.  Therefore, the null hypothesis, which states that there is no significant relationship between corporate strategy and organizational performance, is rejected. On the overall results, the study recommends that the corporate strategies which are formulated based on the findings of the study should be adopted by the manpower service cooperative in General Santos City.
